ANN  SANDERS  GILDER

HEADLAND. . .Ann Sanders Gilder, a resident of Headland, died Wednesday morning, May 15, 2013, at her home. She was 63.

            Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, May 17, 2013, in the Bethlehem Baptist Church with Reverend Norman C. Simmons officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Holman-Headland Mortuary is in charge of funeral arrangements. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M Friday in the church sanctuary.

            Mrs. Gilder was born and reared in Midland City and moved to Headland in 1967. She was formerly employed by Wex-Tex Manufacturing Company in Headland, Ashford, and Dothan. Mrs. Gilder was a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her father, Billy Junior Sanders, her mother, Maebelle German Nowning, step-father, Floyd Nowning, two sisters, Patricia Ann Sanders and Peggy Heins, and a brother, Stanley Earl Nowning.

            Surviving relatives include her husband, Shelby Thomas Gilder, Headland; a daughter, Tracie Diane Wilbanks and husband, Willie, Malvern, AL; two sons, Billy Thomas Bradshaw and wife, Charlene, Bonifay, FL; and John Thomas Gilder and wife, Sharon, Taylor, AL; a sister, Margie Fulford, Dothan; eleven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
