MIDLAND CITY…Ann Watson Woodham, a former resident of Midland City, died Wednesday morning, February 11, 2015, in Wesley Manor Retirement Center. She was 86.


            Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, February 13, 2015, in the Omega Holiness Church, Echo Community, with Sister Cindy Butler and Pastor Keith Butler officiating. Burial will follow in the Cedar Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Midland City. Holman-Headland Mortuary is in charge of funeral arrangements. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 A.M. Friday in the church sanctuary.


            Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Victory Holiness Church, 315 Highway 10, Abbeville, Alabama 36310. 


            Mrs. Woodham was born and reared in Dale County, daughter of the late Robert Taylor Watson and Lillie Mae Hutto Watson. She lived most of her adult lifetime in Midland City before moving to Wesley Manor in 2007. Mrs. Woodham was a member of the Victory Holiness Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Junior Woodham; two sons, James Robert Walker and Charles Douglas Walker; two sisters, Louise Brown and Kathleen Ammons; two brothers, Boots Watson and Cecil Watson; and two grandchildren, Felton Eugene Walker and Levita Michelle Hartzog.


            Surviving relatives include a daughter, Sybil Jenkins, Newville; two sons, Eugene Walker (Mary) and Robert Walker, all of Dothan; a brother, Jesse Junior Watson (Sarah), Union City, GA; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.


            Serving as active pallbearers will be the grandsons and grandsons-in-law.
