Mrs. Annette Tomlinson of Enterprise passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2015.  She was 78.

 

Funeral services will be at 2:00 Thursday, April 2, 2015 in the Chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Enterprise with Reverend Bobby Peters officiating.  Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday beginning at 1:00 and continuing until service time.

 

Flowers will be accepted or contributions in memory of Mrs. Tomlinson may be made to the Dale County Gideons, c/o David Miller, P.O. Box 291, Ozark, AL 36361.

 

Mrs. Tomlinson was born April 11, 1936 in St. Clair County.  She was a member of Harvest Free Will Baptist Church in Ozark.

 

She was preceded in death by a son, Randall Tomlinson; a sister, Jean Hyman; and her mother, Audrey Faulkner.

 

Survivors include her husband of 55 years, George Franklin Tomlinson; 3 daughters: Rhonda Tomlinson, Rhoda Kirkland (Ken), and Reba Herring (Jay Jernigan); 7 grandchildren: Rebekah Tomlinson (Hilton Morgan), Lauren Truitt (Andrew), Ryan Tomlinson, Kaylyn Tomlinson, Alexis Herring, Austin Herring, Kailly Jernigan; a brother-in-law, Bill Pethal; a daughter-in-law, Nancy Tomlinson; a sister, Faye Burnside (Cecil); an aunt, Janet Blackmon.
