Annie Faye Nowling of Geneva passed away at her residence on Tuesday, March 22, 2016, surrounded by her loving family.  She was 77.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 24, 2016, in the chapel of Pittman Funeral Home in Geneva with Rev. Wendell Ard officiating.  Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with Pittman Funeral Home of Geneva directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, March 23, 2016, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.  Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to Southern Care Hospice, 2576 Montgomery Hwy, Ste. 2, Dothan, AL 36303.

Mrs. Nowling was born in Geneva County on July 21, 1938, to the late G.W. and Annie Pearl Davidson. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Earline Nowling and Thelma Mock; and a brother, Dan Davidson.

She is survived by her husband of sixty years, D.L. Nowling of Geneva; daughter, Carolyn Smoker of Panama City Beach, Fla. two grandchildren, Jason Smoker (Rachal) of Panama City Beach, Fla. and Justin Smoker (Kate) of Union Springs; four great grandchildren, Sydney Barrow, Caleb Smoker, Jacob Smoker and Garrett Smoker; brother, Willard Davidson; four sisters, Myrtice Donaldson, Cleo Adams, all of Geneva, Elaine Morrison of Pine Log, Fla. and Linda English of New Hope, Fla.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
