Mrs. Annie New of Enterprise, AL passed away Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at her residence.  She was 85.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at Enterprise City Cemetery. 

Mrs. New was born March 4, 1929 in Louin, MS to the late Willie L. and Eva A. Knotts Smith.  She was a member of Westview Baptist Church.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Eugene New, Sr., one brother and two sisters.

Survivors include her daughter, Carla Schumaker of Aurora, CO and her son, Eugene New and wife Florence of Tulsa, OK; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
