April Briana Hewitt of Dothan passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at Flowers Hospital. She was 19.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 P.M. Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Wilbur Pouncy officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:30 to 230 P.M. Wednesday, August 3, 2016. In lieu of flowers contributions towards the funeral cost will be accepted. Contributions may be sent to Ward Wilson Funeral Home, 2414 Hartford Hwy. Dothan, AL 36305.

April was a member of Mt. Gilead Baptist Church. April was a special need child who was loved by everyone. She lit up the room with her smile and she enjoyed her Special Olympics, going to the fair and meeting new people. She is in the 11^th Grade at Rehobeth High School and would have graduated in 2017.

She is preceded in death by her father Jackie G. Hewitt and her grandmother Helen E. Sellers.

Survivors include her parents Rebecca and James Williams of Dothan; sister Jennifer Cameron of Dothan; and several cousins, aunts, uncles, 2 nieces and lots of friends and family all over Dothan and Houston County.

Pallbearers will be James Williams, Jerry L. Lewis, Teddy Norton, and Joe Carroll.
