Archie Frederick Harper, 89 of Pansey passed away Monday, June 9, 2014.

 

Services will be held at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church on Thursday, June 12, 2014 at 2 PM with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing, the family will receive friends from 1 to 2. Flowers will be accepted or contributions to Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

 

Mr. Harper was preceded in death by his parents Archie and Smithie Croom Harper, his wife Frances Woodham Harper, brother Robert Daniel Harper, sister Chloe Frances Best, brother-in-law John Craig Stewart, step-daughter Lawanna Brown, sister-in-law and brother-in-law Evelyn Woodham Phillips and John Phillips, and step-grandson Joshua Edgerton.

 

Survivors include son Daniel (Eve) Harper, Panama City Beach, FL, step-son Freddy (Jane) Edgerton, Pelham, AL, sisters Ida Ann (Richard) Simpson, Chapel Hill, NC and Mavis Delilah Stewart, Brevard, NC, grandchildren Nicholas Harper, step-grandchildren Haley Ray and Loriahn Harden.  Sister-in-law and husband Jean and Roger Barfield, 2 special nephews Jerry and Fred Best, several nieces and nephews.
