Mr. Arthur Herbert Trant of Geneva passed away on June 24, 2015. He was 91. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 27, 2015 in the chapel of Pittman Funeral Home of Geneva with the Rev. Scott Crooms officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with Pittman Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, June 27, 2015, beginning at 10:00 a.m. and continuing until service time.

Mr. Trant was born in Holmes County, FL on May 28, 1924 to the late George and Nettie Trant. Mr. Trant proudly served his country in the United States Navy. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of over 57 years, Emma Lois Trant; one grandson, Brad King; three brothers and three sisters.

He is survived by three daughters, Betty Tilley (Tom) of Huningtown, MD, Glenda Rodgers (Dwayn) of Chancellor, and Regina Bair (Rick McCommon) of Dothan; six grandchildren, Tim Rodgers (Tina), Kim Gomez (Chris), Kevin Rodgers, Stacey Haines, Brian Tilley (Jen), and Scott King (Annie); 14 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
