It is with heavy hearts that the family of Barbara A. Webb, age 70, Enterprise, AL, share with our friends and loved ones her unexpected passing Saturday, October 10, 2015.

Memorial services will be at 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 13, 2015 in the Chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Enterprise with Reverend Greg Lay officiating.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday beginning at 3:00 and continuing until service time.

Flowers will be accepted, or donations in memory of Ms. Webb may be made to Children’s Hospital of Alabama, Hematology and Oncology Department, 1600 7^th Ave. S, Birmingham, AL 35233.

Barbara was born September 8, 1945, in Geneva County, AL.  She retired in 2012 from First South Farm Credit after 31 years of dedicated service to the farmers of our area.  Barbara was the ultimate Elvis Presley and Alabama football fan.  She always looked forward to Saturdays in the fall to cheer on her team.  However, the single thing that brought her the greatest joys in her life was her family, especially her grandchildren.  They gave her life purpose and filled her days with love and happiness.  She was also blessed to have many amazing friends who along with her family will greatly miss her.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, James and Audrey Vaughan Abercrombie, as well as a brother-in-law, Charles Lay.

Survivors include a daughter, Kathy Stewart (Ernest), Enterprise; a son, Billy Webb, Enterprise; two sisters: Jackie Lay, Chancellor, and Pam Lomheim, Louisiana; five grandchildren: Charli Spivey, Evan Stewart, Riley Stewart, Jayden Webb, Madilyn Webb; nephews: Greg Lay (Amanda), Chancellor, Ken Lay, Birmingham, Jamie Abercrombie, Louisiana; niece, Courtney Morel (Nick), Louisiana; great-nieces: Linsey Watkins, Anagrace Powers, and Zoey Thornton.
