Mrs. Barbara Ann Barnes of Enterprise passed away Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at Flowers Hospital.  She was 75.

Funeral services will be at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, September 19, 2014 in the Chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home and Crematory of Enterprise with Reverend Cliff Quincey of Enterprise officiating.  Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home and Crematory directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 3:00 p.m. and continuing until service time.

Mrs. Barnes was born May 28, 1939, in Coffee County, to the late Vasco and Annie Melvin Boyette LeCompte.  She was a retired teacher.

In addition to her parents, her son, Billy R. Barnes, Jr., preceded her in death.

Survivors include 3 grandchildren: Stephanie Barnes Lader (Troy), Courtney Barnes Thornton (Gunter), and Levi Barnes; 6 great-grandchildren: Ellie, Beau, Blake, Evin, Easton, and Emma-Kathryn.
