Barbara Ann Brewer Fountain of Geneva passed away Friday, January 30, 2015.  She was 69.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 2, 2015 in the chapel of Pittman Funeral Home in Samson with Rev. Jimmy Eddins officiating.  Burial will follow at New Home Baptist Church Cemetery with Pittman Funeral Home of Samson directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service on Monday beginning at 1:00 p.m.  

Barbara was born in Samson, Ala. on October 8, 1945 to the late Jim and Kathryn Bedsole Brewer.  She graduated from Samson High School in the Class of 1962.  She loved people and was known for her sharp, witty comments.  She enjoyed going to dances.   She was also preceded in death by her brother, Eddie Brewer; and an infant son, Jason Fountain.

She is survived by her son, Scott Fountain of Geneva; two grandchildren, Savannah Tucker and Kimberleigh Fountain, both of Slocomb; sister, Meredith Capshaw of Geneva; special aunt and uncle, Mavis and Dan Brewer of Samson.
