 Beatrice Moseley Reeves of Newton, AL passed away Wednesday, April 19, 2017. She was 93.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 21, 2017 at Evergreen Cemetery in Elba, AL with Minister Douglas Williams officiating and Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, April 21, 2017 from 12:30 p.m. until 1:00 p.m.

Mrs. Reeves was born on November 4, 1923 in Coffee County, AL to the late Claude H. and Minnie Godwin Moseley. Mrs. Reeves was a secretary for Dorsey Trailers in Elba for a number of years.  Dothan First Baptist Church was blessed to have had her as a member of their congregation. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Reeves; one son, Albert D. Reeves III; four brothers, Joe, Fred, Tom, and Virgil Moseley; four sisters, Amylee Hornsby, Hazel Powell, Marjorie Applegate, and Thelma Moseley.   

She is survived by one sister, Elizabeth Parrish of Phenix City, AL; grandson, Steve Reeves; granddaughter, Terri Daughtie; several great and great-great grandchildren; and also several nieces and nephews. 

Serving as pallbearers will be: Wayne Grantham, Lamar Hornsby, Jimmy Hornsby, Dale Moseley, Tommy Moseley, and Tom Keenum.
