BEBE  J.  BESS

DOTHAN…Bebe Bess of Dothan passed away on Wednesday, March 26, 2014, with her loving husband by her side.

            Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, March 29, 2014, in Gardens of Memory, between Headland and Dothan, with Covenant Hospice Chaplain Tim Stevenson officiating. Holman-Headland Mortuary is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 9:30 to 10:45 A.M. Saturday at the mortuary.

            In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, c/o Katie Rotton, 3054 McGehee Road, Montgomery, Alabama 36111 or to Covenant Hospice, 104 Rock Bridge Road, Dothan, Alabama 36303.

            She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, mother-in-law, father-in-law and sister-in-law.

            She is survived by her husband, Greg; sister, Norma May; brother Bobby and Betty Smith; sister Charlsie Draughon; special sister-in-law, Cindy and Mike Perry; very special cousin Debbie Solt and son, Joe; sister-in-law, Judy and Randall Isler; sister-in-law, Shirley Peacock; nieces and nephews, Michelle and Chris Morris and children/goddaughters, Lexi, Abi and Ali; Robbie and Kelly May and sons Tyler and Conor; Denise and Darrell Newborn and sons, William and Robert; Dale and Sherry Smith and daughter Jessie; Trina and David Livingston and children Ansleigh and Tanner; Kristy and Jeff Weed and sons, Cole, Maddox and Aidan; Stephanie and James Druckenmiller and son, Crosby; numerous other cousins and a host of very special friends.

            Serving as active pallbearers will be Mike Perry, David Livingston, Chris Morris, and Jeff Weed.

            A very special thank you to the entire staff of Dr. Austin, Dr. Stokes, Dr. Mayor and the girls in the Chemo Room, all of whom quickly became her second family.
