Becky Kaye Welch Dunn, age 43, of Ashford, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at her residence.

 

Born March 17, 1971 in Donaldsonville, GA to the late Woodie Welch. Mrs Dunn was an avid Auburn fan, she enjoyed listening to country music, fishing and going to the races.

 

Besides her father, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Larry Welch, and her two nieces, Makayla and Elizabeth.

 

Survivors include her husband of nine years, Corey Dunn; her sons, Michael Peacock, Dustin Hughes, Corey William Dunn, and Matthew Hughes; her daughter, Nicole (Michael) Deacon; her mother, Nell Adkins; sisters, Susan (Billy) Sewell, Sarah (Leroy) Monds, Denise (Allen) World, Anita (Mike) Smith; her brother, Tony (Kim) Welch; grandchildren, Colson, Raeleigh, and Westen; several nieces and nephews; mothers of the grandchildren, Morgan Peacock and Tabitha Rumker; and a very special friend, Sarah Odom.

 

Funeral services will be held at 10 AM Friday, June 27, 2014 at Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Eric Sutton and Reverend Judy Dyson officiating. Burial will follow in Shady Grove Church Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing. A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2014 from 5 to 7 PM from the chapel.

 

Flowers will be accepted by the family.
