Ben Hill Harden, 87, of 36 May Rd, Slocomb, Alabama went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday July 15, 20215 at Extendicare surrounded by his family.

 

Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Saturday, July 18, 2015 at Harper Joy Assembly of God with Reverends Eddie Littlefield, Tommy Harrison and Jerry Harden officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.

 

The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.

Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Resource Center.

 

Mr. Harden is preceded in death by his parents Reese S. Harden and Myrtle Dasinger Harden, daughter Carolyn Marie Harden, brothers Elbert and George Harden and sister Lorraine Harden.

 

Survivors include his wife Merle Harden, sons Danny Harden and his wife Brenda, Donald Harden and his wife Mary, sisters Mary Lewis, Sybil Dixon, Linda Floyd and her husband Robert, Evelyne Sizemore, brothers Jerry Harden and his wife Robbie, Billy Joe Harden and his wife Merle, Charles Harden and his wife Betty, Robert Harden and his wife Sue, 6 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
