Ben “BJ” Speigner went to be with his Lord Jesus Christ on Sunday, January 04, 2015 at the age of 95. The only thing that surpassed his work was his faith.

 

Funeral services will be held at 1pm Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home in Geneva with Minister Doug Williams and Minister Buddy Bell officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with Jimmy Bottoms of Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 6pm to 8pm Monday, January 5, 2015 at Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home.

 

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 64 years, Mary Nell Speigner.

 

Survivors include one daughter, Pat Bowers; one son, Benny (Mitzi) Speigner; five grandchildren Scott (Donna) Bowers; David (Julie) Bowers; Luke (Katie) Speigner; Anna (Jason) Padgett; Haley (Brad) McCoy; nine great grandchildren Caleb Bowers; Aaron Bowers; Luke Bowers, Jude Bowers; Lucas Speigner; Leila Speigner; Isabella Padgett; Aden Seay; and Layla McCoy. Mr. Speigner always said the grands were great but the great grands were even better.
