MIDLAND CITY…Betty Enfinger Ransbottom, a resident of Midland City, died Friday morning, March 20, 2015, at her home. She was 71.

            Memorial services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, March 21, 2015, in the Holman-Headland Mortuary Chapel with Reverend Van Clack officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until 1:00 P.M. Saturday at the mortuary.

            In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Gentiva Hospice, P.O. Drawer 2127, Dothan, Alabama 36302.

            Mrs. Ransbottom was born and reared in Skipperville, daughter of the late Dessie D. Enfinger and Mary Kathryn Mathis Enfinger. She formerly lived in Kinsey and Dothan before moving to Midland City in 2004. Mrs. Ransbottom was a member of the Heritage Baptist Church.

            Surviving relatives include her husband, Richard B. Ransbottom; three daughters, Christina Noe and Vickie Ezzell (Steve), all of Headland; Jennifer Kirkland, Midland City; a son, Terry Noe (Donna), Houston, TX; a sister, Debra Cook (Charles Davis), and a brother, Berlin Enfinger, both of Midland City; seven grandchildren, Carrie Yance (Chris), Heather Lashley (Chris), Ashley Woodham (Jeremy), Sarah Gulledge, Camren Kirkland, Ethan Gilman and Amanda Noe; five great-grandchildren.
