Billy Ray Harrison of Samson, Alabama passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2013.  He was 44.


Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 27, in the Trinity Church of God with Rev. Johnny Wiggins and Rev. Donnie Earles officiating.  Burial will follow in the Little Ealum Baptist Church Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home of Geneva directing.  The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday beginning at 12 noon and continue until service time.


Billy was born April 23, 1969, in Coffee County.  He was a very special, fun loving, humble person.  He was always there for everyone when and if the need arose.  If you had the privilege of knowing Billy, your life was touched in a very special way and will never be the same.  He attended Trinity Church of God in Samson.


His mother, Sandra Robinson Stallworth Harrison preceded him in death.


Survivors include his father, Richard Lee Harrison, Sr.; five brothers: Richard Lee Harrison, Jr. (Annie Jewel), all of Samson, James Curtis Harrison, Bonifay, FL, Willie Junior Harrison, Lexington, KY, Bobby Ray Harrison, Rochester, NY and Earthy Lee Harrison, Samson; two sisters: Linda Sue Harrison Marsh and Glinda Sue Harrison Baldwin, both of Samson; nieces and nephews: Darrell Clay Marsh, Jr. (Tamara), Lindsay Allen Marsh, Shaquelle O’Neal Marsh, William Alexander Baldwin, Christopher RaShawn Baldwin, Shawnelle Denise Marsh, Kimberly Michelle Baldwin, Cassandra Lakesha Baldwin and Justine Harrison; one great niece, Ava Michelle Coleman; special friends: William, Betty and Keith Lloyd;  other extended family and friends.
