Bobbie Mae Beaty Green, age 81 of Dothan, passed away on Friday, April 18, 2014 at Westside Terrace.
Born, December 12, 1932 in Eufaula Alabama to the late Henry and Lille Mae Hovey Beaty. Mrs. Green was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed cooking, reading, and going shopping with her daughter. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband, Wade Green Jr.
Survivors include her daughter, Donna Keene (K.W.) of Dothan; son Terry Green of Eufaula; sister, Norma Greathouse of Eufaula; grandchildren, Kim Bamford (Daryl), Bryan Green (Liz); great-grandchildren, Brooks, Riley Grace and Barrett Bamford; special niece, Debbie Vickery (Roy); and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Monday, April 21, 2014 at 2 PM from the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Woody Farrington officiating. Burial will follow at the Memory Hill Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday, April 21, 2014 from 1230 until 2 PM.
The family will be accepting flowers or donations can be made to Covenant Hospice, Southside Baptist Church Building Fund of Dothan or Troy.
The family would also like to say thanks to Cora Moulton, Jean Forshee and Annell Walker and many thanks to the staff at Westside Terrace and Covenant Hospice for their special care and tender touch.
