Mrs. Brenda Hutchison Lindsey of New Brockton passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at the family residence.  She was 53.

Funeral services will be Monday, June 30, 2014 at 2:00 in the Sorrells Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow in Goodman Independent Church Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home and Crematory of Enterprise directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday afternoon from 2:00 – 4:00.

Flowers will be accepted or memorial donations may be made to Muscular Dystropy Association – WEB, PO Box 78960, Phoenix, AZ 85062-8960.

Mrs. Lindsey was born September 2, 1960 in Coffee County to the late Rushing Jr. and Brenda Mitchell Hutchison.

In addition to her parents, her brother, Rushing Roy Hutchison III preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband, Foy Lindsey of New Brockton; 2 daughters: Melinda Godwin of Enterprise and Beverly Acree (Anthony) of Elba; 4 sons: Ronald Lindsey (Beth) of Louisiana, Shon Lindsey of New Brockton, Wayne Lindsey (Victoria) of Enterprise, and Chris Lindsey of New Brockton; 2 brothers: Tommy Hutchison (Amy) of New Brockton and Tim Hutchison (Grace) of Enterprise; 1 sister: Sandra Hutchison of New Brockton; 21 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.
