Brenda J. Martin, a resident of Dothan, passed away at her home on Saturday, September 7, 2013. She was 63.

Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Thursday, September 12, 2013 in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Phillip Durr officiating. Burial will follow in Midland City Cemetery with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 5-7pm.

Mrs. Martin was born on February 3, 1950 in Houston County and lived the early years of her life in Dothan. She resided in Midland City for several years and at the time of her death was staying in her daughter’s home.

Survivors include her sons, Andy (Heather) Martin and Greg Martin (Paige Turner); her daughters, Becky (Eric) Terry and Carla Martin (Poncho Morse); her eight grandchildren, Johnathon and Aaron Martin, Cameron, Collin, and Connor Terry, Chris Martin, Damian Appling, and Dakota Harvill; one great-grandchild, Briley Terry; her brothers, Roger Kennedy and Jerome Kennedy; her sisters, Shirley Fife and Lavonia Conners; a special friend, Larry Whitehead; several nieces and nephews also survive.
