HEADLAND….Burnell Benton Varnham, was born September 29, 1920. She spent her earlier years in Tallahassee, Florida and was a 1938 Graduate of Leon High School. She lived in Headland and was an active member of the First Baptist Church until declining health. She resided at Wesley Manor in Dothan until her death. She is survived by one son, Henry, Denver, CO; a sister, Margaret Thrash, Panama City, FL; a brother, Dick Benton, Ellen, FL; two grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
