COLUMBIA. . .Candace Folkes Harper, a resident of Columbia, died Thursday, February 2, 2017, at her home. She was 38.

            Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, February 5, 2017, in the First Baptist Church of Columbia with Pastor Justin Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Columbia City Cemetery. Holman-Headland Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. Sunday in the church sanctuary.

            In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family or funeral home for funeral expenses.

            Candy Harper was a native of Dothan and was a graduate of Ashford Academy. She lived in Columbia most of her lifetime.  Candy was preceded in death by a former husband, Randall Willis. She was of the Catholic faith.

            Surviving relatives include a daughter, Reygan Harper, and a son, Ryan Willis, both of Columbia; her mother, Wendy Lewis Johnson, Columbia; her father and step-mother, Wayne and Cindy Folkes, Dothan; two sisters, Lindsey Hicks (Jeff), Dothan; and Cori Harrell (Brandon), Tampa, FL; a brother, Ashley Folkes (Meng), Birmingham; a special friend, Krystle Tedder; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
