Carl Jackson Thorne, 75, passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan, Al. A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 11, 2015 at 11 AM in the chapel of Manry-Jordan-Hodges Funeral Home. Rev. Jonathon Fuller officiating.

Mr. Thorne was born in Blakely, Ga. to the late Willie C. Thorne, Sr. and Ida Elizabeth Harbuck Thorne. Other than his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Pam Lamb and by 2 brothers Willie C. Thorne, Jr. and John Lee Thorne.

Mr. Thorne is survived by 1 brother; Billy Thorne of Dothan, Al. and by 3 sisters; Ruby Nell Johnson of Blakely, Lottie O'Bryan of Dothan, Al and Sheryl Miller of Daleville, Al.
