Mrs. Carolyn Sue Hendrix of Geneva passed away on June 27, 2015 at Wiregrass Nursing Home. She was 68. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 30, 2015 in the chapel of Pittman Funeral Home of Geneva with the Rev. Huvon King officiating. Burial will follow in the Whitaker Church Cemetery with Pittman Funeral Home of Geneva directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, June 27, 2015, beginning at 1:00 p.m. and continuing until service time.

Mrs. Hendrix was born on June 10, 1947 to the late Henry Bo and Gladys Sasser Smith. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Joel Hendrix; one sister, Dianne Argenziano; two brothers, Gerald and Terrell Smith.

She is survived by two sons, Billy Wayne Dean and Jason Hendrix both of Geneva; one daughter, Amanda Jo Hendrix of Geneva; one step-daughter, Martha Hendrix Shirley (John) of Hartford; five grandchildren, Kalecia, Kaleb, and Kyanne King, Jeremy Pridgen and Shelly Shirley; three brothers, Deryle Smith (Dianne), Tommy and Eddie Smith; several nieces and nephews.
