Cassadi Leann “Cassi” Churchwell of Pensacola, Fla. passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2014. She was 22. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 8, 2014 in the chapel of Pittman Funeral Home, Geneva, AL. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, February 7, 2014 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.

Cassi was born in Dothan, Ala. on August 20, 1991 to William “Steve” and Susan “Gina” Churchwell. She loved music and art. Cassi graduated from Bethlehem High School. She received a bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration from the University of West Florida. Cassie was an extremely intelligent young woman who was preparing to work on her master’s degree.

She is survived by her parents, Steve and Gina Collins Churchwell of Chipley, Fla; brother, Steven Brent Churchwell of Seattle, Wash.; paternal grandparents, Kenneth and Beverly Churchwell of Cleveland, Tenn; maternal grandparents, Johnnie Collins (Annette) of Slocomb and Sue Hall (Ray) of Daleville; four aunts, Pamela McFadden of Cleveland, Tenn, Lori Collins (Becky Jett) of Mobile, Ala., Melanie Tindell (Tim) of Slocomb; and five cousins, John Thomas McFadden, of Cleveland, Tenn., Jack Collins-Jett of Mobile, and Heather, Kaitlyn and Tiffany Tindell, all of Slocomb.
