Cathryn “Caye” Ward Martin, age 89, of Enterprise, AL, passed away, Sunday, December 6, 2015 in Enterprise.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at First Baptist Church with Rev. Ben Bowden officiating.  Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home directing.  The family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday beginning at 12:00 Noon until service time.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church Building Fund, 302 North Main Street, Enterprise, AL 36330

Caye was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church where she was a devoted member of her Sunday School Class and First Baptist Church Keenagers. She enjoyed playing golf, bridge, fishing and knitting.  She was a member Emeritus of 20^th Century Chautauqua Club and longtime member of Enterprise Country Club Ladies Golf Association.

Survivors include her husband of 71 years, Charles L. Martin, Jr., Enterprise, AL; daughter, Leslie Martin Whitlock, Homewood, AL; two grandchildren, Cathryn E. Whitlock, Enterprise, AL; William Martin Whitlock, Dallas, TX.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Enterprise Health and Rehabilitation Center and to Gentiva Hospice.
