Cebie Strickland of Level Plains, AL went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, July 19, 2014 in Medical Center Enterprise.  He was 83.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, July 22, 2014, at First Baptist Church of Level Plains with Rev. Mike Foreman officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 4 to 7 PM.  Memorials may be made to:  First Baptist Church of Level Plains Building Fund, 8189 County Road 1, Enterprise, AL  36330.

Mr. Strickland was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Jefferson Monroe Strickland and Mary Hayes Strickland and step-mother, Ella Strickland; 7 brothers and 2 sisters; grandson, Joshua Strickland.

Survivors include his wife, Pauline Grantham Strickland, Level Plains, AL; daughter, Jennifer (J.J.) Waters (Danny), Enterprise, AL; sons, Mike Strickland (Susie), Level Plains, AL, Kenny Strickland (Rita), Level Plains, AL, David Strickland (Sharon), Level Plains, AL; grandchildren, Amy Griffin (Garrett), Michael Strickland, Rebecca Strickland, Melissa Gann (Tim), Jeremy Strickland (Christine), Casey Strickland, Cadie McCullough (Daniel), Justin Waters, Hayley Waters, Matthew Waters; great-grandchildren, Ben Griffin, John Michael Griffin, Emma Gann, Maddie Gann, Jacob Gann, Katherine Strickland; special family member, Vicki Storey; sisters-in-law, Virginia Melton (Ed), Zeita Hogan, Eleanor Grantham, Hazel Joines.
