Charlie Michael Jones, a resident of Dothan passed away Friday, May 10, 2013, at his residence. He was 59.

 

Funeral services will be held at 10 A.M. Monday, May 13, 2013, at the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend David Dunn officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Hill Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.

 

The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 P.M. Saturday, May 11, 2013. Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made to your favorite charity.

 

Michael was born October 30, 1953, to the late Charlie L. Jones and Sarah F. Jones.

 

Survivors include his wife, Shelly Jones, Dothan; daughter, Wanda McKinnon (Eddie), mother, Sarah Jones, two sisters, Judy Lietzan (Jim) and Dawanna Hammond, four step-children, Andy Moates, Billy Clark (Wendy), Susan Daughtry (Steve), and Katie Ellis (Jimmy), eleven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and other extended family and friends.

 

Michael retired from G.E. of Dothan after28 years of employment. He was a member of Liberty Freewill Baptist Church of Dothan.
