Mr. Charles Ferdinand Christoffer, Jr. age 66, a resident of Columbia(formerly of Hattisburg, Ms. & Lincolnton, Ga.) died late Thursday, March 26, 2015 at his residence following an extended illness.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, April 3, 2015 at 2 p.m. at the Balkum Baptist Church (near Headland)with the Reverend Tom Chestnut officiating.

Flowers will be accepted.

Mr. Christoffer was born on April 16, 1948 in New Orleans, Louisiana the son of Charles Ferdinand Christoffer, Sr. and Mary Cecille Faust Christoffer.  He was a delivery driver in the vending industry for 30 years with Venworks in Hattisburg, Ms.  Charles was a member of Balkum Baptist Church in Henry County.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include: wife of 46 years, Susan Christoffer, Columbia, AL.; daughter, Gina Dufrene (Kelly), Columbia, AL.; son, Charles Christoffer, Lincolnton, GA., a brother, Richard Christoffer, New Orleans, LA., 5 Grandchildren; 4 Great-Grandchildren.
