Mr. Charlie Alex Dady of Dady Lane, Westville, Florida passed away at his home with his family by his side, Saturday, November 15, 2014.  He was 68.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 19, 2014, in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home in Geneva with Rev. Thomas Ealum and Rev. Danny Quincey officiating.  Burial will follow in the Mt. Olive Assembly of God Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home and Crematory of Geneva directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday, November 18, 2014 from 6 until 8 p.m.

Charlie was born December 17, 1945, in Holmes County, Florida to the late Alexander and Lizzie Jane Davis Dady.  He enjoyed the outdoors; hunting, fishing, driving his tractor and working on his farm.  After several years of service he retired from Wiregrass Electric as a crew supervisor.

In addition to his parents, the mother of his children, Elaine Dady, a granddaughter, Kayla Ann Dady, a sister, Frances Gilmore, a baby brother and also a set of infant twin brothers, all preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife Jeanette Mims Dady of Westville; one son, Danny C. (Melinda) Dady of Geneva; one daughter, Charlotte Dady of Westville; two granddaughters: Krystal Elaine Dady of Bonifay and Alexis Lain Dady Berry (his little buddy) of Westville; two step grandchildren: Chelsea McAdams of Westville and Brady Summerlin of Geneva; four sisters: Mozelle Watson of Westville, Mary Scott of Panama City,Willie Mae (Buddy) Biggs of Westville and Inez (David) Cochran of Geneva; his special dachshund canine friend, Princess Pooh Dady; several special nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends.
