Charlie W. Danzey of Defuniak Springs, Florida, 81, departed this life to fuller and greater life in God on December 20  at Crestview, Florida. He was born to Cody and Minnie Danzey on December 12, 1936 near Headland, Alabama.  Charlie served as an Assemblies of God pastor for many years, and with his wife, Peggy, owned and operated Danzey’s Donuts in Dothan, Graceville, and several other locations.  He loved God, his family, and the Alabama Crimson Tide.  Charlie is preceded in death by his parents, a brother Bruce, wife, Opal Jean Bowers who died in 1973, wife, Peggy Joyce Clark Danzey, who died on December 13, 2014.  He is survived by son, Steve Danzey of Chicago, Illinois; daughter Adonna Jean Zehr and her husband Don of Mossy Head, Florida; daughter Beth Williams and her husband Luther of Graceville, Florida; ten grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; two sisters, Dorothy Oates and her husband Tom and Jacqueline Kilpatrick of Headland, Alabama, and host of nieces, nephews, brothers- and sisters-in law, and friends. The service for Charlie will be held Saturday, December 27, 12:00 noon at Wilson-Ward Funeral Home in Dothan, Alabama with The Rev. Wesley Ard, The Rev. Charles Clark, and The Rev. Dr. Steve Danzey officiating.  Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory in Headland, Alabama.  The family will receive visitors from10:30am until noon at Ward-Wilson.
