Charlotte Whitehead McCall, of Jacksonville, FL, formerly of Cottonwood, AL, passed away Monday, August 25, 2014.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 1, 2014, in Clearman Chapel at Southern Heritage Funeral Home with Reverend Kyle Johnson and Reverend Matthew Dorsey officiating. Burial will follow in Cottonwood City Cemetery with Southern Heritage Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Sunday, August 31, 2014, at the funeral home.

Born in Houston County, AL on November 16, 1956, Charlotte is a daughter of Wanda Napier Dollar and the late Winfred H. Whitehead.  She was a 1975 graduate of Cottonwood High School and worked as a mortgage originator with Bank of America in Jacksonville, FL, and was a member of Southside Baptist Church.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, Ricky Whitehead.

Surviving in addition to her mother and step-father, Ted Dollar, are daughter and son-in-law and two sons and a daughter-in-law:  Alyssa McCall Dorsey (Matthew), Rocky Mount, NC;  Casey Garrett McCall (Niki), Lexington, KY;  and Charles Bradford McCall, Bellingham, WA;  father of her children, Chuck McCall, Cottonwood, AL;  sister, Sheila (Mack) Thomley, Dothan, AL; sister-in-law Tina Wagner, Leesburg, GA; step- sister and step- brother, Laura Hurley and John Dollar both of Atlanta, GA; nine grandchildren: Silas Dorsey, Micah Dorsey, Anna Dorsey, Leah Dorsey, Josiah McCall, Elias McCall, Eden McCall, Lillian McCall and Samuel McCall, along with several nieces and nephews.

Charlotte loved life and overflowed with love and kindness toward her family and friends.
