Christopher "Chris" Issac Daniels, a resident of Dothan, died Wednesday, September 7, 2016 after a long illness. He was 42.

The family will conduct memorial services Monday, September 12, 2016 at 2pm at Frith Hill Church in Ashford with Brother Billy Gene Dickerson officiating.

Chris was born May 3, 1974 in Leesburg, FL. and moved to AL at a young age. He attended school in Hartford where he played football. He was a Die Hard AL fan "Roll Tide" prior to his illness. Chris worked as a roofer. He loved fishing, his family, singing, Kid Rock and AL football. He will forever be loved and missed. He also loved making people laugh and listening to Alan Jackson.

Chris was preceded in death by his dad, Charles "Hoss" Daniels; his grandparents, Roy and China Daniels, Billy Faulkner, Buddy Woods, William Henderson; father-in-law, Law Jack Milner, I.

He is survived by his loving wife, Mary "Sissy" Daniels; his mother and step-dad, Marcia and Gregg Ward; grandmother, Peggy Henderson; mother-in-law, Mary Milner; sons, Todd Daniels, Travis Daniels, Justin Walker; daughter, Ashley Daniels; four step-children, Elidia Bullard, Tasha Nagy, Justin Nagy, Timothy Nagy; ninteen grandchildren; brothers, Charlie Daniels, Jesse Daniels, William Daniels, and Timothy Ward; special brother-in-law, Jack Milner, II; sisters, Marie Ramsey, and Amy Ward; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews, brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law.
