Clifford Reeks Strickland passed away Wednesday, September 10, 2014, at Bill Nichols State Veterans Home, Alexander City, AL.  He was 90.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, September 13, 2014 at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel with Dr. Michael Mynatt officiating.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 PM until service time.

Survivors include his daughter, Jill Chormicle (Charles), Enterprise, AL; son, Michael Strickland (Teresa), Dothan, AL; brother, Paul Strickland (Martha), Austin, TX; 4 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.
