Daniel Angus Olin Wilkes, 23, of Ashford passed away Thursday, April 4, 2013.

Memorial services will be 5 pm Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at Sunset Funeral Home with Rev. Mack Woods officiating and Robert Byrd directing.

Daniel was born May 10, 1989 in Panama City and resided the early part of his life in Jackson County. He attended Malone High School; and Cottonwood High School and has resided in Ashford since 1996. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ernest Woods, Rudolph Woods, and Mildred Woods.

Survivors include his parents Hellen and Jerry Woods; his grandmother Mary Woods; a brother Bobby Wilkes; a sister Brandy Wilkes; aunts, Molly (Jimmy) Abbott, and Anna (Tony) Arrington; uncles, Jeff (Malisa) Woods, and James (Shirley) Wilkes; nieces and nephews, Taylor Thaxton, Mason Woods, and Chloe Thaxton; numerous cousins also survive.
