Mr. Daniel C. Davis passed away Thursday, November 20, 2014 at his home in Enterprise following an extended illness.  He was 70.

 

Memorial services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 24, 2014 in the Chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory in Enterprise.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday beginning at 10:30 a.m. and continuing until service time.

 

Flowers will be accepted, or memorial donations may be made to the National MS Society – Alabama, 813 Shades Creek Pkwy, Ste. 100 B, Birmingham, AL 35209.

 

Mr. Davis was born March 20, 1944 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to the late Evan and Thelma Rose Davis.  He was a retired electrician with General Motors.

 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 34 years, Kathryn Peirce Davis, as well as one brother, Raymond Davis.

 

Survivors include 2 children: Diane Alpeter (Scott) of Enterprise, AL and Mark Davis (Martha) of Tennessee; 1 sister: Caroll Eckroat of Pittsburgh, PA; 2 brothers: Ronald Davis of Milford, Michigan and Malcolm Davis (Jean) of Lambertville, NJ; and 4 grandchildren: Kelsey and Christopher Alpeter, and Joshua and Rachael Davis.
