Daniel L. McClellan, a resident of  Fadette Community, Geneva County, AL, passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2013. He was 74.

 

Funeral services will be held at 2 P. M.  Friday, May 24, 2013 from the Chapel of Ward Wilson Funeral Home with Reverends Wes Kelley and  Brian Cawley officiating. Burial will follow in Pondtown cemetery, Hartford, AL with Ward Wilson Funeral Home Directing.

The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home Chapel from 1 until 2 P. M., one hour prior to the service. Flowers will be accepted.

 

Daniel was born in Geneva County, AL on November 9, 1938, the son of the late Herman and Bernice McClellan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nelda and his great nephew, Kevin Blake Kelly.

He served in the Air Force for several years.

 

Survivors include Two sisters, Lyndle Wright of Slocomb and Virginia Beard of Dothan; Three daughters; Michele McClellan of Panama City, FL, Marilyn McLendon and her husband Randy of Cowarts and Melissa Millard;  eleven grandchildren, three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews
