ABBEVILLE. . .David Scott Brady, a resident of Abbeville, died Friday, November 25, 2016, at his home. He was 63.

            Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, November 28, 2016, in the Holman-Abbeville Mortuary Chapel with Pastor Joy Thornton officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:30 until 11:00 A.M. Monday at the mortuary in Abbeville.

            Flowers will be accepted, or memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675.

            Mr. Brady was born and reared in Selma, Alabama, son of the late James Carroll Brady and Harriett Duke Brady. He lived in Starke, Florida and Dothan before moving to the Hardridge Creek area of Henry County in 2015. Mr. Brady was a member of the Pleasant Hope Methodist Church in Starke, Florida. He was retired as a Project Manager in the commercial glass industry. Mr. Brady was a private and commercial licensed pilot. He is preceded in death by a brother, James D. Brady.

            Surviving relatives include his wife, Sybil M. Brady; a daughter, Barbara Brady, Sylacauga, AL; a son, Brad Brady (Christina), Starke, FL; a sister, Tracy Banks (Steve), and two brothers, Michael Brady (Patti), and Freddie Brady, all of Selma, AL; five grandchildren, Ashley Brady, Alyssa Brady, Dylan Olive, Skylar Burkett and Kristian Evans.
