FT. GAINES, GEORGIA. . .Debbie Williams, a resident of Ft. Gaines, Georgia, died Friday, May 8, 2015, at her home. She was 56.

            Debbie Williams was born and reared in Ft. Gaines and was a graduate of Clay County High School. She was formerly employed by the State of Georgia in Health & Human Resources. In earlier years, Debbie was employed by Andrew College in Cuthbert, GA. She was preceded in death by her father, Curtis Wilburn Williams.

            Surviving relatives include a daughter, Chloe Dean, Marietta, GA; a son, Travis Bryan, Sharpsburg, GA; her mother, Virginia Gashaw Williams, Ft. Gaines; a sister, Beverly Potts, Dothan; two nephews, Curt Dupree and Reid Potts; a special great-niece, Kelsey Davis; several aunts and uncles.
