            Deborah Petty (Debbie) Falk, a resident of Headland, died Saturday afternoon, October 3, 2015, at her daughter’s residence in Headland. She was 63.


            Memorial services will be held at 5:00 P.M. Monday, October 5, 2015, in the Holman-Headland Mortuary Chapel with Chaplain Gaylon Benton officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:30 until 5:00 P.M. Monday at the mortuary.


            In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Felines Under Rescue (FUR), P.O. Box 1788, Dothan, AL 36302.


            Debbie Falk was born in West Warwick, Rhode Island and was reared in San Bernardino and Pleasant Hill, California, daughter of the late Robert Joseph Petty and Leona Virginia Miller Petty. She was a graduate of College Park High School in Pleasant Hill, CA and attended college in Washington and California. Debbie formerly worked with ID Associates and Cummings Signs. In earlier years, she was employed as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Debbie’s proudest moment was the birth of her daughter and the degree her daughter received as a Registered Nurse and her continuing education to become as Nurse Practitioner. She lived in Tacoma, Washington and Bountiful, Utah before moving to Headland in 2000.


            Surviving relatives include her husband, Steven Floyd Falk; a daughter, Tina Marie Cochran (Toby), all of Headland; a sister, Cheryl Frazier (John Mark), Walnut Creek, CA; three grandchildren, Kati Cochran, Savannah Cochran and Hunter Cochran.
