Ms. Debra June Ellis Wooten, age 53, a resident of Gordon died Thursday September 26, 2013 at her residence. 


Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday September 28, 2013 at the Springhill Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery near Gordon with Pastor Keith Frith officiating and Kendall Glover of Glover Funeral Home directing. 


Ms. Wooten was born on October 13, 1959 in Jacksonville, Florida the daughter of Richard Hunter Ellis and Jacqueline Yvonne Howard.  She had been a resident of Houston County for the past thirty years moving here from Panama City, Florida.  Debra had worked at the Olympia Spa Resort and was a member of the Springhill Free Will Baptist Church in Gordon. 


She was preceded in death by her mother, Jacqueline Yvonne Howard Forehand and a daughter Candace Barnes. 


Survivors include: husband, Dan Johnson, Gordon; daughter, Angel Boyd (James), Dumfries, VA.; son, Micheal Wooten (Emily), Gordon; father, Richard Ellis (Sharon), Midland City; brother, Scott Forehand, Dothan; sister, Karen Suggs, Milledgeville, GA.; eight grandchildren, Peyton, Makayla, Makenzie, Elijah, Jade, Katelyn, Victoria, and Madelyn.
