Della R. Cole (Taylor) of Midland City received her wings on March 14, 2015 after a brief illness in SAMC. She was 81 years old.

 

Funeral services will be held 2 PM Tuesday March 17, 2015 at Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. The family will be receiving friends at the Funeral Home 6 to 8 PM Monday March 16, 2015. Flowers will be accepted.

 

Della was a very giving and generous soul. She carried a smile every place she went and was the rock of her family. She will be greatly missed as she was loved by all!

 

 

She is preceded in death by her parents Cicero and Annie Taylor, husband Robert E. Cole, Sister Emma Nell Taylor and her eldest daughter Juanita Forbes.

 

Her survivors include a daughter Genary Maddox of Ozark, two sisters; Rosie Carroll and Ann Hendry of Midland City, a brother Willie Roe Taylor of New Brockton, four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
