Delores Joyce Moseley Ellis of Chancellor passed away on Friday, April 14, 2017.  She was 84.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m.on Tuesday, April 18, 2017, in the chapel of Pittman Funeral Home in Geneva.  Burial will follow at Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery with Pittman Funeral Home of Geneva directing.  The family will receive friends prior to the service on Tuesday, beginning at 10:00 a.m.

Mrs. Ellis was born in Russell County, AL on July 7, 1932, to the late Sherman C. Hart, Sr. and Inez Lanier Hart.   She was preceded in death by her first husband, Tom Moseley, her second husband, Carl Ellis; three brothers, Aubie Hart, Sherman Hart, Jr. and Johnny Hart; and a sister, Laura Clemmons.

She is survived by her daughter, Angela English (Johnny) of Geneva; three sons, Thomas J. Moseley, Jr. (Donna) of Lawrenceville, GA, Timothy Moseley (Debbie) of Chancellor, and Jeffrey L. Moseley of Kinsey, AL; seven grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and a sister, Helen Andrews of Kentucky.
