Dennie Pittman Walden, 78, of New Brockton, AL died on Sunday, November 30, 2014 in Dothan, AL.

Funeral services will be 2 pm, Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at First Baptist Church New Brockton with Rev. Slade Stinson and Rev. Nate Sims officiating.  Burial will follow in the Old Tabernacle cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home directing.  The family will receive friends at the church from 12:30 until service time on Tuesday.  Memorials may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, 813 Shades Creek Parkway, Suite 100 B, Birmingham, AL 35209.

Mrs. Walden was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Douglas R. Pittman.

Survivors include her husband, Kenneth R. Walden, New Brockton, AL; daughters, Wendy Lee Walden, Enterprise, AL and Karen Walden Bofenkamp (Mike), Huntsville, AL; brother, Leon Pittman (Bobbie), New Brockton, AL; sister-in-law, Juliana Pittman, Enterprise, AL; grandchildren, Lindsey Averett Wallace (Chris) and Camaron L. Averett (Erica); great granddaughter, Emery Madilyn Averett.
