            Dolores M. Cullen of New Brockton, Alabama passed away Sunday, May 31, 2015 in Medical Center Enterprise.  She was 83.

            Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at Old Tabernacle Methodist Church in New Brockton with Reverend Lee Jones officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Enterprise directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.

            Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association (www.diabetes.org).

            Dolores was born April 1, 1932, in Olin, Iowa, to the late Clifford and Verda Glick Guilford.  She graduated from Olan High School in 1949 at the age of 17.  Following her graduation from nursing school in Grand Rapids, Iowa, she met and married her husband, Richard.  They relocated to Enterprise in 1955, where she had a long career in nursing, at one time serving as Director of Nursing at Coffee General Hospital.  She retired from Humana Hospital in 1994.  She was a dedicated member of Old Tabernacle Methodist Church.

            In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Richard N. Cullen; her sister, Vivian Mackey; and her step-father, Albert Remington.

            Survivors include 2 sons: Donald N. Cullen (Susan) of New Brockton, AL and Terry A. Cullen (April) of Charleston, SC; 7 grandchildren: Kyla Cullen, Ryan Cullen, Alex Cullen, Jayna Cullen, Erin Cullen, Cayia Word, Chris Morris; 4 great-grandchildren: Sydney Cullen, Lexie Word, Savannah Word, and Lyra Morris.
