KINSEY. . .Donald A. Landry, Jr., a resident of Kinsey, died Thursday night, May 19, 2016, at his home. He was 57.

            Celebration of Life Services will be held from 2:00 until 4:00 P.M. Saturday, June 11, 2016, in the Kinsey Senior Center with eulogies given by friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Kinsey Senior Center, c/o Kinsey Town Hall, 6947 Walden Drive, Kinsey, AL 36303.
            Mr. Landry was born in Des Moines, Iowa and was reared in Kansas City, Missouri, son of the late Donald A. Landry, Sr. and Margaret Alexander Landry. He formerly lived in Independence, Missouri, Lake City, Florida and Ozark, Alabama before moving to Kinsey, Alabama in 2008. Mr. Landry was retired, due disability, as a printer. Donald had a love for life and his family. He was an avid gamer, with a fondness for war and computer games. Donald loved learning about all phases of history, particularly the World War II era.

            Surviving relatives include his wife, Denice Ann Gilson Landry; a daughter, Lisa Landry (Christian), both of Kinsey; a granddaughter, Joslynn Landry; a sister, Romona Linsley (Thomas), Ozark; two brothers, Mike Landry (Cheryl), Sand Point, Idaho; and Mark Landry, Independence, Missouri.
