     Donald Patrick “Pat” Martin of Geneva, AL, moved to his heavenly home on Friday, December 23, 2016. He was 64.

      Pat was born on October 1, 1952 into a loving Christian family. He took great joy in caring for his parents in their last years of life and his family was blessed beyond measure by this selfless act.

      He is preceded in death by his parents, Angus and Girtha Martin. Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and James Byrd; his grandson, Brandon Byrd; brother, Buddy Martin; sisters Jackie Cole and Rhonda Whiddon.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home with Bob Sanders officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in the New Zion Baptist Church Cemetery  with Warren Holloway ward Funeral Home directing.
