Doris Bass Fontenot of Ozark, passed away Sunday, March 24, 2013.  She was 92 years of age.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Wednesday, March 27, 2013,  at Faith Christian Center in Ozark with Rev’s. Charles Littlefield and Roger Campbell officiating.  Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Grimes, AL. with Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home directing.  Visitation will be held from 5:00pm until 7:00pm on Tuesday, March 26, 2013, at Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home.

Mrs. Fontenot was born October 18, 1920, in Dale County.  She was a member at Faith Christian Center. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Albert Bass and Paul Fontenot; a nephew, Bobby Medley and sister, Lois Whitten.

Mrs. Fontenot is survived by her son, Jerry Bass of Ozark; her sister, Jimmie Johnson of Monroeville; her brother, Rev. James Smith (Eloise) of Moultrie, Ga; grandchildren, Michael Bass, Brenda Spicer (Frank), and Joel Bass (Lori); great-grandchildren, Patrick McDaniel, Courtney Bass, Brannon Bass, Matthew Bass and Ethan Spicer; her step-great- grandchildren, Brandie Jones, Samantha Spicer and Will Spicer; her caregivers, Annie Young and Laila Smith.
