Doris E. Dewey of Geneva passed away on Thursday, January 8, 2015.  She was 87.  A celebration of life memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 10, 2015 in the chapel of Pittman Funeral Home in Geneva.  The family will receive friends beginning at Noon on Saturday. 

Mrs. Dewey was born in Geneva, Ala. on August 25, 1927 to the late Sheriff W.P. Register and Mattie Clemmons Register.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Dewey; daughter, Cindy Dewey; and a  sister, Peggy Brown.  She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

She is survived four sons, Ken Dewey (Diana) of Marianna, Fla., Ron Dewey (Kate) of Mountain Top, PA., Mike Dewey; and Richie Dewey (Christy), all of Coffee Springs; two daughters, Debbie Weston of Winston-Salem, NC. and Karen Belosky (Dan) of Chemung, NY; eleven grandchildren; and thirteen great grandchildren.
